India: OMC Chrome Ore E-Auction for 91,000 Tons on 30th July

The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) will conduct E-auction for its Chrome Ore on 30th of this month. There will be total 91,000 tons of Chrome Ore on offer, out of this, 78,000 tons will be friable ore and 13,000 tons will be concentrated ore.

In the last E-auction, which was conducted in the month of June, prices remain unchanged. There was total 82,300 tons of sized Chrome Ore on offer and out of that 65,700 tons was from the South Kaliapani mines and 16,600 tons was from the Sukrangi mines. Of the 65,700 tons, 46000 tons was earmarked for the state based parties and rest 19700 tons was for outside the state parties, according to 70:30 ration rule.

Similarly of the 16,600 tons of Chrome Ore from the Sukrangi mines 11,600 tons was earmarked for state based buyers and rest 5,000 tons was earmarked for outside buyers.

On the other hand there was 12,700 tons of Chrome concentrates was on offer. The H1 prices of different grades of sized chrome ore are given below.
