India: Odisha’s Serajuddin mines resumes iron ore offer (updated)

Odisha-based Serajuddin & Co. has started offering iron ore post resumption of mining operations at its Balda iron ore block since it was auctioned in Mar’20. The current provisional offer price for Fe 63% fines is heard around INR 4,000/t ex-mines. In addition to it, the differential amount will be charged as per IBM price circular which is generally issued after 3-4 months, sources reported SteelMint. Serajuddin, which was the previous lessee had retained the block by paying a premium of 118.05%. Fines (Fe 62%) fines offer from other miners are currently at INR 6,075-6,500/t ex-mines.
