Odisha-based major merchant iron ore mine Serajuddin & Co. has revised material offers from its Balda iron ore block w.e.f 23rd Apr’21. The current offer price for lumps 5-18 mm (Fe 63%) is heard at around INR 10,900/t ex-mines (including Royalty, DMF & NMET), SteelMint learned from sources. The offers have increased by INR 300/t against last week. In addition to it, Sarda mines have raised fines (Fe 63%) offer by INR 200-300/t this week to INR 8,200-8,300/t ex-mines. Limited availability of high-grade ore has continued to keep prices supported.
