Odisha-based Serajuddin & Co. reduced iron ore fines offer this week from its Balda iron ore block. The current offer price for Fe 63% fines is heard at around INR 5,200/t ex-mines and 10-30 mm cr at INR 7,200/t ex-mines (including Royalty, DMF & NMET). However, offers for 5-18 mm lump have remained unchanged. Serajuddin mines retained Balda iron ore block with EC limit of 15.15 mn t pa at 118.05% premium in Odisha auctions 2020. The miner has requested for exemption from existing iron ore stacking and sampling rules, however, the final judgement is awaited.
