Sponge C-DRI (FeM 80%, mix material) prices in Odisha’s Rourkela increased by INR 200/t to INR 35,100/t exw.
- 1,760 t of deals were confirmed at INR 35,000-35,200/t exw. A few bids were reported at INR 34,500-34,700/t exw.
- Sources said overall demand is dull with limited transactions reported. However, steel billet prices that moved up by INR 350/t, d-o-d, kept sponge prices supported.
