Indrani Patnaik , an Odisha based merchant miner, has reduced Iron ore prices by INR 500/MT (USD 8/MT) wef 24 Jan, 2015. This is the second time in the month, miner has cut its prices.

Iron ore prices in Odisha have been correcting since government has permitted extended EC of few mines. Miners like Serajuddin and Rungta have corrected their prices to an extent of INR 700/MT in January and expected to reduce further in next week.
