The Odisha government has re-scheduled the Teherai iron ore and manganese mine block auction for which the last date of bid submission is 7 Feb’22. The last auction held for the block failed to fetch any response and was cancelled due to lack of participation. Explored up to the G2 level, the mine has total geographical resources of 19.87 mn t of iron ore.
