Odisha government has temporarily suspended iron ore dispatches from Odisha’s 2nd largest merchant iron ore producer – Serajuddin Mines.
As per market sources, the company received a letter yesterday regarding temporary suspension of iron ore dispatches from mines owing to stock verification. A team will be sent for physical verification of stock. However it is still not known that for what time frame the dispatches will remain suspended temporarily, shared trade sources.
The reason as stated by company official behind temporary suspension of dispatches was physical verification of stocks, which may resume soon.
Serajuddin Mines has EC limit of 15.15 MnT pa and produced 10.89 MnT iron ore in FY17. In FY18 (till Jul’17) Serajuddin Mines produced 4.14 MnT iron ore.
The miner dispatched 4.37 MnT iron ore so far in FY18 (till Aug’17).
