CoalMint has heard that the mismatch between bids and offers for Australian 5500 NAR grade coal widened to $20/t yesterday after a major correction in global thermal coal prices. While offers stand at $150/t, bids are heard at $130/t. Thermal coal prices across origins fell by $30-35/t yesterday amid positive sentiments in the LNG market.
