Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 76,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 51.11% and Fe 52.5%) from its Dalli iron ore mines in Chhattisgarh. According to updates from sources, the tender failed to fetch any response. This could be due to low-grade iron ore being offered, SteelMint notes.
