NMDC’s Kumarswamy mines’ Iron ore e-auction in Karnataka on 30 Dec, 2013. The e-auction will be conducted under MSTC`s monitoring committee. Total quantity of Iron ore offered for sale is about 276,000 MT.
The inspection of material for NMDC’s e-auction will take place between 24 to 28 Dec, 2013. Auction will commence at 15:00 HRS IST and Conclude by 17:00 HRS IST.
Total Iron ore offered for sale:
Iron ore Lumps: 200,000 MT
Iron ore fines: 76,000 MT
Royalty 10%, VAT 5.5% (on auction price and royalty) FDT 12% are applicable
In Q3 of FY 14 NMDC has offered about 3.84 MnT of Iron ore through Karnataka e-auction, which is decreased by 18% in comparison to last quarter.
NMDC is one of the largest suppliers of Iron ore in Karnataka e-auction. The main buyer of NMDC’s Iron ore in Karnataka e-auction was JSW Steel, JSW Steel limited Salem Works and Kalyani Gerdau Steels.
