India: NMDC’s iron ore production stable, sales rise m-o-m in Dec’22

NMDC, India’s largest iron ore miner, produced 3.61 mnt of raw material in Dec’22 which remained stable m-o-m compared to Nov’22.
However, the cumulative production in Apr-Dec’22 declined by 5% to 26.93 mnt compared to 28.32 mnt in the same period last year.
On the other hand, iron ore sales increased by 9.2% m-o-m to 3.32 mnt in Dec’22 from 3.04 mnt in the previous month.
