India: NMDC’s iron ore production rises 8% m-o-m in Jan’25

NMDC’s monthly iron ore output touched 5.10 mnt in Jan’25, up by 8% from 4.71 mnt in Dec’24.
Iron ore sales increased by 15% to 4.48 mnt in Jan’25 against 3.91 mnt in Dec’24.
However, in Apr’24-Jan’25, cumulative production volumes decreased marginally by 1% to 35.87 mnt as against 36.32 mnt in the year-ago period.
