India: NMDC’s iron ore production falls, sales rise m-o-m, in July

  • India’s top iron ore miner NMDC produced 2.05 mnt of the raw material in Jul’22, down 20% m-o-m from 2.57 mnt in Jun’22.
  • Production in Apr-July’22 stood at 10.97 mnt, down 8% y-o-y compared to 11.96 mnt in the same period last year.
  • However, iron ore sales increased by 55% m-o-m to 2.95 mnt in July.
