India: NMDC’s iron ore production down 5%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

  • India’s top iron ore miner, NMDC’s production stood at 4.31 mnt in Feb’22, down 5% m-o-m from 4.56 mnt in Jan.
  • Production in Apr-Feb’22 stood at 37.18 mnt, higher by 26% y-o-y compared to 29.52 mnt in the year-ago period.
  • Sales, too, decreased by 6% to 3.97 mnt in Feb.
