India: NMDC’s iron ore production and sales rise m-o-m in Jan’23

NMDC produced 4.2 mnt of raw material in Jan’23, up 16.3% m-o-m compared to 3.61 mnt in Dec’22. However, cumulative production in Apr-Jan’23 fell by 5.3% y-o-y to 31.14 mnt compared to 32.88 mnt in the same period last year.
Iron ore sales increased by 15.7% m-o-m to 3.84 mnt in Jan’23 from 3.32 mnt in Dec’22. Cumulative sales volume in Apr-Jan’23 decreased by 9% y-o-y to 29.64 mnt against 32.60 mnt in the last year period.
