India: NMDC’s iron ore output slips 9% m-o-m in Feb’25

NMDC’s monthly iron ore production stood at 4.62 mnt in Feb’25, down by 9% from 5.10 mnt in Jan.
Iron ore sales also dropped 11% to 3.98 mnt in Feb against 4.48 mnt in Jan.
However, cumulative production for Apr’24-Feb’25 saw a marginal 1% rise, reaching 40.49 mnt against 40.24 mnt in the same period last year.
