NMDC Steel Limited, Nagarnar, conducted a 300 t crude coal tar auction on 28 Oct’25 in which the entire quantity was sold at a weighted average price of INR 31,700/t exw. Prices dropped INR 4,400/t from the previous auction on 29 Sep in which same quantity was sold at INR 36,100/t. The decline reflects resistance to high prices, aligning with similar corrections across regions.
