NMDC Chhattisgarh will auction 53,000-t iron ore from Bacheli on 16 Oct’25. This includes 4,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%), 6,000-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%), and 43,000-t fines (Fe 64%). Prices are yet to be declared, which will include taxes. In its last auction on 9 Oct, 21,500-t fines sold at INR 5,290/t, 2,000-t ROM sold at INR 6,050/t, and 4,000-t lumps received a 9.5% premium.
