India: NMDC to auction over 400,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 431,400 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 29 Jan’25:

• Bacheli: 73,100-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 215,000-t fines (Fe 64%), and 10,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Kirandul: 133,300-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)

In NMDC’s 17 Jan auction, 8,600-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) were booked at INR 7,130/t and 8,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) at INR 6,615/t. Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, and NMET.
