India: NMDC to auction over 380,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 384,400 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 31 Dec’24:

• Bacheli: 30,100 t of DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 215,000 t fines (Fe 64%) and 6,000 t of Baila-sized lump (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Kirandul: 133,300 t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• In its 18 Dec’24 auction, only 8,000 t of Baila lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) booked at base price of INR 6,860/t. Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, NMET.
