India: NMDC to auction over 300,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 313,600 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 27 Nov’24:

• Bacheli: 47,300 t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 197,800 t fines (Fe 64%) and 4,000 t Baila-sized lump (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Kirandul: 64,500 t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• In its 21 Nov’24 auction, only 8,000 t Baila lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) got booked at base price of INR 6,860/t. Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, NMET.
