India: NMDC to auction over 185,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 186,300 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 13 Feb’25:

• Bacheli: 21,500 t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 94,600 t fines (Fe 64%) and 10,000 t Baila-sized lump (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Kirandul: 60,200 t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• In its 29 Jan’25 auction, 51,600-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) booked at base price of INR 7,130/t and 10,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) booked at INR 6,630/t. Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, NMET.
