NMDC has announced that its Kumaraswamy mines in Karnataka will auction 252,000 t of iron ore on 20 Jul’24. Out of the total quantity, 124,000 t are fines (Fe 58-62.74%) and 128,000 t are lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.34-63.34%). The base prices will be declared on ex-mines basis including taxes. In the last auction on 6 Jul, around 396,000 t of iron ore (Fe 58.46-63.33%) got booked at INR 3,397-5,466/t.
