India’s largest iron ore miner – National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) is going to conduct two iron ore auctions for around 651,000 t from its Bacheli mines and 50,400 t from its Kirandul mines, Chhattisgarh. Both the auctions are scheduled on 28 Jan ’21. In its previous auction conducted in the last week of Dec ’20, bids for DR CLO increased sharply by around INR 3,700/t and fines by INR 200/t above the set base price, sources reported SteelMint.
