NMDC has released a notification for an auction of 389,000 t of iron ore on 6 Feb’24 from its Kumaraswamy mines, Karnataka. Out of the total quantity, 111,000 t are lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 58.83-61.57%) and 278,000 t are fines (Fe 58.12-63.84%). On the last auction on 25 Jan, 112,000 t fines (Fe 60.64-61.41%) and 116,000 t lumps (10-40mm, Fe 61.35-63.54%) were booked at INR 4,158-4,743 /t and INR 5,351-6,475/t against the base price of INR 3,928-4,083/t and INR 4,281-4,745/t, respectively.
