NMDC’s Nagarnar Steel Plant auctioned 10,000 t of steel-grade pig iron on 25 Jun’26, with 6,100 t sold at the base price of INR 35,800/t exw. The auction price declined by INR 100/t from the previous sale on 19 Jun’26, when only 4,200 t out of 12,000 t were booked at INR 35,900/t exw, indicating improved buying interest amid a marginal price correction.
