NMDC’s Nagarnar Integrated Steel Plant will start commercial production of HRCs from Jul’22, as per information available with SteelMint. HRC production target is 2 mntpa within one year, 2.5 mntpa within two years and 3 mntpa within three years. Mecon was awarded the operations and maintenance contract. The plant will achieve full 3 mtpa capacity in three years.
