NMDC conducted an auction for 200,000 t of iron ore from its Kumaraswamy mines in Karnataka on 7 Oct’25. The complete quantity was booked, with 40,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.12%) sold at INR 5,293/t (base price – INR 4,813/t). Meanwhile, 160,000-t fines (Fe 58.64-62.81%) were booked at INR 3,467-5,115/t against base prices ranging within INR 3,467-4,455/t. Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMEDT charges.
