NMDC Steel Limited has floated a purchase tender to procure 1,740 t of ferro silicon (Si: 70% min, 25-50 mm) for its Jagdalpur-based unit. The bid submission deadline is 13 Mar’26, with bid offer validity of 60 days from the closing date. BigMint assessed ferro silicon prices (Si 70%, 25-150 mm) at INR 101,000/t ($1,099/t) exw-Guwahati on 6 Mar’26.
