NMDC (Chhattisgarh) supplied total of 190 rakes (0.73 MnT) of iron ore in the month of Sep’19, up 12% against 169 rakes (0.65 MnT) a month before in Aug’19, according to railway movement data maintained with SteelMint.
NMDC supplied 29 rakes (0.11 MnT) to state-based units in Sep’19, up marginally against 28 rakes a month before.
On 19th Sep, NMDC Ltd announced cut in its iron ore prices. Prices of iron ore fines and lumps were reduced by INR 200/MT and in DR-CLO price cut was by INR 230/MT and ROM by INR 180/MT. Prior to this the company had lowered prices by same quantum on 21 Aug’19.
NMDC’s supplies to outside state-based units increased 9%:
The procurement by units outside C.G also witnessed rise for the month by 9% on monthly basis to 138 rakes (0.53 MnT) in Sep’19 as against 127 rakes (0.49 MnT) in Aug’19.
RINL’s procurement from NMDC Bailadila mines in Sep’19 increased 9% on monthly basis to 98 rakes as compared to Aug’19 procurement at 90 rakes.
JSW Steel (Dolvi) sourcing from NMDC recorded at 14 rakes in Sep’19, against 13 rakes a month before.
KIOCL procured 20 rakes in Sep’19, stable M-o-M.
Movement for exports picked 64% in Sep’19:
NMDC’s movement of iron ore export for the month of Sep’19 witnessed 64% rise to 23 rakes as compared to 14 rakes in Aug’19.
