NMDC conducted an auction for 68,500 t of iron ore from its Bacheli mines on 5 Jun’25. 4,000 t of sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) were booked at 3.2% premium, and 21,500 t of DR CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) at 2.4% premium against base price of INR 6,500/t and INR 7,110/t respectively. 43,000 t of fines (Fe 64%) remained unsold. Prices were on FOR basis, inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET.
