NMDC has reduced lump prices by INR 450/MT, fines by INR 300/MT & ROM by INR 390/MT for February, 2015.
India’s largest Iron ore producer, NMDC has reduced Iron ore prices. Declining Iron ore prices in the domestic as well as global market and falling sales have compelled the miner to reduce prices. The miner had rolled over Iron ore prices in Jan’15.

NMDC sold 1.09 MnT Iron ore in Jan’15 via Karnataka e-auctions, till the auctions held on 27 Jan’15. Also, NMDC’s supply of rakes to Chhattisgarh based Sponge plants had fallen from 87 rakes in Dec’14 to 74 rakes in Jan’15 (down by 15% M o M).
