NMDC Chhattisgarh auctioned 70,200-t iron ore from Bacheli on 23 Oct’25. The entire 17,200-t DR CLO (Fe 67%) fetched 10% premium (base INR 6,250/t), while 4,000-t sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) secured 16% premium (base INR 5,700/t). Meanwhile, 6,000-t ROM (Fe 65.5%) were sold at base price INR 5,500/t, and 43,000-t fines (Fe 64%) remained unsold (base INR 4,790/t). Prices were on FOR basis, inclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
