India’s largest iron ore miner – NMDC has set a new record of highest ever iron ore production in a single day with 207,741 t produced on 23 Mar ’21, the company tweeted. With this, the company has surpassed its previous best record of 191,363 t iron ore output on 31 Mar ’19. NMDC has set a target of 40 mn t iron ore production in FY ’22 and around 35 mn t in FY ’21.
