India: NINL reduces Pig Iron Prices by INR 400-500/MT

Neelachal Ispat, India’s largest producer & exporter of Pig iron, has revised Pig iron prices for the 2nd time in this month.

Sluggish demand of finished steel goods as well as reduction in Sponge iron prices by INR 500/MT since a couple of weeks has compelled NINL to reduce its offers by INR 400-500/MT. Currently, it is offering N1 grade (Si upto 1.24%) at INR 24,100/MT and N2 grade (Si 1.25% to 1.79%) at INR 24,500/MT (Ex-Cuttack).

Earlier this month, NINL had corrected its offers by INR 250/MT.
