SAIL has scheduled an auction for 10,000 t (60 kg) full length commercial rails from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on 21 Oct’21. At the previous auction on 8 Oct, buyers booked 3,400 t of 60 kg rails at a weighted average price of 42,300/t exw. 2,000 t of 52 kg rails was booked at the base price of INR 46,500/t exw.
