Nepal-based mill has booked a rake (about 2,500 t) of controlled chemistry IF-route wire rods recently from Raipur, central India at an average price of around $810/t loaded to wagon (LTW), equivalent to $835/t CPT Nepal.
Nepal’s monthly wire rod imports from India dropped in the past few months due to weaker domestic steel demand and liquidity crunch.
