Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), a joint venture of MMTC, IPICOL, and OMC which has recently commissioned fully automated basic oxygen furnace (BOF) shop and continuous casting plant is offering Steel Billets at Rs 28,000/t (Ex Works, Basic) according to a circular uploaded on company's website.
According to the circular, prices are Ex-plant basis for IS 2830 (BIS) grade which has sulphur and phos content less than 0.05% and of size 150*150. However total quantity offered has not been mentioned.
Current offers for commercial billet in the market are around Rs 28,000-28,500/t (Basic, Ex-Works).
