At Odisha Mining Corporation’s iron ore lump auction today, 462,000 t, or 41% of the total quantity of 11,37,000 t, received bids. The majority of the lots fetched flat bids except for the Jilling and Khandbandh lots as against the last auction in end-Jun’22. OMC produced 27 mnt of iron ore in FY’22 compared to just 13.06 mnt in FY’21.
