India: NCL touches 100 mnt coal despatch mark in ongoing fiscal

Northern Coalfields Ltd. (NCL) has become the third subsidiary of Coal India Ltd. (CIL) to cross the 100 mnt mark in despatches in the ongoing fiscal (FY’22). NCL’s despatches were recorded at 100.68 mnt on 23 Jan, lagging behind MCL’s and SECL’s 141.6 mnt and 123.96 mnt, respectively. CIL’s total despatches till date in FY’22 stands at 526.37 mnt, up 17% on the year.
