National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) reported a drop of nearly 80% in its net profit for the September quarter. Nalco on 9 Nov reported an 83.2% decline in consolidated profit at INR 125.43 crore, on the back of higher expenses and lower income. The company had posted a consolidated profit of INR 747.80 crore in the year-ago period.
