- Nalco has raised primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 11,300/t ($141/t) on 21 July against 15 July. The effective price stands at INR 227,900/t ($2,856/t).
- The company revised prices after several primary manufacturers hiked prices by INR 7,250/t. Also, a slight recovery in exchange prices supported the price hike.
- Nalco has a production capacity of around 400,000 t per annum and accounts for 9-10% of India’s market share.
