India: Nabha Power opens Tender for 12 Lakh MT Coal

Nabha Power has invited bids for supply of max 12 lakh MT Non-coking Coal in a year. Plant will require around 1 lakh MT per month; bidders to offer minimum quantity of 80,000 MT per month.

The company invited bids on the basis of delivery of Coal to the designated location i.e. up to wagon tipplers/Coal hoppers in plant. Bids should include all taxes, transportation and incidental expenses.

Nabha Power said in the tender, “Quantity should not to exceed 12 lakh MT in a year under this tender. However, NPL may order more than 1 lakh MT in some months to one or more suppliers. Schedules will be required by NPL”.

Plant requires Coal as per the following Specifications
GCV (ARB) of Coal: 4,400 Kcal/kg
Total moisture (ARB): 10.5%
Volatile Matter: 22-27%
Sulphur: 0.5%
Coal size: 0.50 mm

Company mentioned that sampling and quality testing will be done at plant.
