MRPL has decreased pet coke prices for road supply by INR 880/t to INR 17,110/t for Aug’22. The price for rail supply was reduced to INR 16,810/t. Earlier, Reliance Industries had also cut pet coke prices, but the revision is not consistent due to the dispersed location of the refineries and varied market conditions. MRPL sells majority of the quantity to major cement buyers.
