Mr. Pradip Kumar Tripathi, Special Secretary and Establishment Officer, Dept of Personnel and Training has been appointed Secretary of Steel by Govt of India. As per the order of Appointment Committee of Cabinet, Mr. Tripathi will take charge as the new steel secretary after Binoy Kumar (serving at present) who retires on 31 May’20.
