Mono Steel India Ltd, one of the major billet manufacturers and exporters through the induction furnace (IF) route based in Gujarat, has started production from a new 30 t induction furnace recently. The company currently has seven furnaces of 30 t each with a total melting capacity of 2,100 tonnes per day (tpd), company officials informed SteelMint.
