On 7 June, 2024, MOIL auctioned 1,890 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro manganese (Mn: 63-72%), 3,180 t of ferro manganese slag, 750 t of manganese ore (MnO2: 55-72%) and 150 t of manganese ore oxide(Mn 46.5%) from its Balaghat plant. The whole lot of ferro manganese (Mn: 63-72%) was sold in between INR 60,200-95,600/t ($721-1,145/t). While around 2,320 t slag was sold at INR 13,250/t ($159/t). Additionally, whole lot of 750 t of manganese ore was sold in between INR 28,900-49,820/t ($346-$597/t).
