India: MMTC Re-issues 30,000 MT Pig Iron Export Tender

India’s largest and state-owned trading house, MMTC has re-issued an export tender of 30,000 MT non-alloy Pig iron and the tender is scheduled on 21 Feb’17. The material is produced by Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), Duburi, Odisha, India.

Last export tender of MMTC for 30,000 MT Pig Iron is recently closed on 10 Feb’17. The company has managed to attract 2 participants and bids received were around USD 285/MT, FOB India. However company has not awarded this tender hence re-issued.

Synopsis of the tender

Quantity: Minimum- 15,000 MT; Maximum-30,000 MT
Loading port: Paradip Port, India
Shipment period: During 8 Mar’17-18 Mar’17
Delivery basis: FOBST Paradip Port
Destination: Any country other than banned countries

The due date for bid submission is 21 Feb’17 at 14:30 hrs IST. Technical bid opening and price bid opening are scheduled on the same day at 14.45 hrs and 16.30 hrs IST respectively.
