MMTC on 23 Dec, 2014 had floated a global purchase tender for 160,000 MT Hematite Iron ore with scheduled technical and price bids to open on 16 Jan, 2015. The tender has received a single bid on 16 Jan, 2015. Company has decided to re-issue the same tender hoping to receive more bids in the second round.
With reference to the notification given by MMTC, the company has invited overseas producers/suppliers/traders for import of 110,000 MT Hematite Iron ore fines and 50,000 MT Hematite Iron ore lump on FOBST/CFR basis.
Bidders shall submit their price bid in USD/MT for both FOBST (loading port) and CFR (discharge port) basis.
